    Fire Protection FAQs

    NBL Intumescent Paint is certified for fire resistance ratings of 60, 90, 120, 150, and 180 minutes for steel structural surfaces. It can also be applied to timber and aluminium. All ratings are officially certified by the Vietnam Fire and Rescue Police Department.

    Our coating is certified for steel structures (beams, columns, trusses), structural timber and engineered wood, and aluminium elements such as curtain wall systems and canopy structures. We can advise on the correct product for your substrate.

    The NBL system includes NBL-R137 (intumescent fire paint), NBL-P022 (antirust primer), and NBL-S169 (decorative topcoat). These are designed to work together to provide both fire protection and a finished aesthetic appearance.

    Yes. We provide a full technical documentation package including fire test certificates, product data sheets, and application reports suitable for Vietnam PCCC submissions. We also support clients with fire safety approval processes internationally.

    Yes. We offer both interior and exterior grades. For exposed or high-humidity environments, we specify the appropriate primer and topcoat system to protect the intumescent layer and ensure long-term performance.

    Required thickness depends on the fire rating, structural member type, and section factor (Hp/A). Our technical team will review your structural drawings and calculate the exact dry film thickness required for certification compliance.
